Assuming continuity of geological media, it is rather difficult to assert that deep zones of the Earth's crust include acoustically isolated objects, which resonate at various frequencies even under a weak influence from the surface. This has seriously hampered the understanding of a fundamental problem in geophysics and seismology—the mechanism of change in the level and spectrum of seismoacoustic emissions, the formation pressure of fluids, and the oil/water ratio—under weak seismic load. The central question in this problem is whether the observed effects are caused by the direct influence of rather weak man-made vibrations upon a fluid-saturated collector or are provoked by the excitation of intense seismic emission in the reservoir and the consequent initiation of hydrodynamic and other effects. The second assumption is supported by earlier experimental results that showed a gradual manifold increase of the seismic emission level in the upper sedimentary cover under the impact of seismic load on the earth's crust.
