Paragenesis of Inclusions in Diamonds from the Botoubinskaya Kimberlite Pipe, Nakyn Field, Yakutia

摘要

Diamond-hosted inclusions from kimberlite pipes have always attracted attention, as they not only contain the most accurate and detailed data on the diamond formation conditions, but also bear information on the diamond formation environment, i.e., on petrological features of the upper mantle in the given region. Therefore, the first data on such inclusions from the recently discovered Botoubinskaya Pipe, which marked the discovery of a new kimberlite field, are of great interest. The importance of these data is also emphasized by the specific composition of kimberlites, mantle xenoliths, and diamonds from the new field.
