Formation Stages and Genesis of Gold Deposits in the Amur Region

The Mesozoic stage of the tectonomagmatic reactivation of the Amur region was provoked by a collision between the Aldan-Stanovoi and Amur geoblocks. Consequently, the Mongol-Okhotsk fold system sandwiched between the geoblocks was transformed into a narrow eastward-widening (wedge-shaped) block. Tri-assic-Cretaceous reactivation promoted the evolution of a series of volcanoplutonic complexes and the formation of paragenetically associated gold deposits in the Amur region. According to the classification proposed by Smirnov, the deposits are referred to the hydrothermal group of endogenic series (Table 1).
