The evolution of the Earth-Moon-Sun tidal system can be characterized by the oscillating regime. The range of changes in the Earth-Moon distance, the speed of rotation, and the obliquity of the ecliptic are estimated on the basis of measured values of changes in the lunar orbit and Earth rotation (ω) under the assumption that the period of 200-250 Ma between global gla-ciations characterizes the cyclicity of tidal evolution (TE). The evolution trend correlates with the geological record. It was shown in [3] that the TE-mediated migration of waters in the World Ocean significantly influenced the Earth's biosphere (in particular, the development and demise of highly specialized taxons, such as dinosaurs).
