Precipitation of Heavy Metals in the Barents Sea Region

摘要

The purpose of this work is to estimate the intensity of atmospheric precipitation of dominant heavy metals in the Barents Sea region. The Barents Sea is located at the northeastern extreme of Europe between the Atlantic and Arctic regions. Among the Arctic seas, the Barents Sea is distinguished by its extended polar front, large shelf, and abundance and diversity of flora and fauna. The Barents Sea is the most productive basin of the Arctic Ocean with a high resource status. Therefore, preserving the high productivity of this basin presents a problem of international significance.
