摘要

When studying fluid inclusions, one always comes up against metastability phenomena. They are most often related to the lack of nucleation of new phases (a gas bubble or crystals) during cooling and caused by peculiarities of the kinetics of phase transitions: a certain work should be performed to create a new phase boundary. In addition to the lack of nucleation of new phases, other types of metastability are also described: existence of superheated ice at negative pressures, phenomena caused by the irreversibility of processes in an inclusion during its cooling.
