Intensity and Extensiveness of Ore Mineralization in Structures of Tectonostratigraphic Terranes

Intensive ore mineralization is typical of various mineral deposits. Extensive mineralization, which accompanies intensive mineralization, can be divided into the following groups: (1) contents of minerals slightly exceeding the background (clarke) value in rocks manifested as admixtures in minerals; (2) sporadic mineralization as dissemination of ore minerals; and (3) rare and small patches of subeconomic mineralization. All these varieties of extensive mineralization are considered anomalous ones that can be used as prospecting guides for noble and nonferrous metal deposits, although the majority of zones with extensive mineralization lack economic ore deposits.
