Photoluminescence of Optical Chemosensory Films Based on Mesoporous Silica Modified by a Complex Colloidal Silver-Organic Dye

摘要

Creation of high-sensitivity optical, chemical, and sensory film materials is explained by the extreme necessity of distant monitoring of industrial wastes in real time, the state of the environment, and geochem-ical conditions on the deposits of natural resources in aqueous and air conditions (analyzed harmful material) using miniature instruments based on optical effects of analyte adsorption. The solution of this task is possible on the basis of a structured matrix from organic polymer nanoparticles or nanoparticles of glasslike silica, the surface of which is modified by molecules of organic dye, luminophor functionally active with respect to the analyzed compounds. Joining them to luminophor changes the intensity of photoluminescence (PL) providing evidence for the type of harmful materials and their concentration in the studied matter.
