Zonal Partitioning of REEs in Dark Monazites (Kularites) of the Timan Ridge (Kryazh)

According to the microprobe analysis of kularites from Timan, the clear zonal partitioning of basic REEs was established as analogous to that described earlier for oolites from Yakutia [7] and some other numerous objects. In particular, it was established that the central zone (core) is always enriched in Nd (up to 20 wt %), Sm (up to 10 wt %), and Gd (up to 5 wt %) at a relatively low content of Ce (18 wt %) and La (up to 4 wt %) compared to the marginal zones. At the same time, the marginal zones of oolites are enriched in Ce (up to 28 wt %) and La (up to 14 wt %).
