Nano-sized spheroidal gold particles are most abundant in deposits of the volcanogenic type among the studied gold-silver deposits of the Far East. Among volcanogenic deposits, spheroidal particles of electrum (Au and Ag) are the most abundant in the May deposit, Primor'e.rnThe geological setting of the May gold-silver deposit is controlled by its location in the southeastern part of the Dal'negorsk volcanotectonic basin on the boundary with the Monomakh uplift within the Eastern Sikhote-Alin volcanic belt.
