摘要

The causes and probable mechanisms of changes in climate conditions from glacial epochs to interglacial and, conversely, have been studied in detail. However, the sequence, duration, and probable causes of short-term climate variations of the modern interglacial period have not been studied enough. The high latitude ecosystems respond relatively quickly to climate changes. The predictable warming in such regions could result, as an example, in the shrinking and thawing of the permafrost zone. This can change the landscape and have various effects on vegetation, biota, and humans, including negative ones. Therefore, an assessment of landscape-climatic conditions of formation of the boreal ecosystem in the Holocene is of importance for understanding the long-term dynamics and development of predictive models of ecosystem response to expected changes in climate conditions.
