The Geodynamic Model of Formation of Early Caledonides in the Olkhon Region (West Pribaikalie)

The Olkhon Region as a part of Early Caledonides of West Pribaikalie is a unique geological region, where one can study different depth levels of the Earth's crust, exposed at the present erosional level as separated lithoplates as a result of collisional-shear deformations. From northwest to southeast, there are distin?guished three main zones (lithoplates): the Chernorud zone (granulite facies metamorphism), the Anga-Sakhyurty zone (amphibolite facies metamorphism), and the Anga zone (epidote—amphibolite metamor?phism) [1].
