摘要

The elaboration of monomineral thermobarome-ters based on the composition of one phase is a challenging task in modern petrology. This is because xenoliths are lacking or rare, and only xenocrysts are available in many mantle-derived rocks. Prospecting and exploration for diamonds are commonly conducted with separate grains of mantle-derived associated minerals. The estimation of their formation temperature is important both for theoretical petrology and applied purposes. The methods of temperature estimation by nickel concentration in garnet are known [13]; however, their application requires additional expensive ion-proton analyses.
