New Data on Stages in the Formation of the Pre-Alpine Continental Crust beneath the Khrami Crystalline Massif (Caucasus)

The Khrami crystalline massif (KHM) represents a deeply eroded part of the pre-Alpine crystalline basement of the Black Sea-Central Caucasus terrane (Fig. 1). The following main complexes are definable among pre-Alpine rocks constituting the Khrami massif: (1) Precambrian gneiss-migmatite; (2) Paleozoic gabbroids; (3) Sudetian granite; (4) Upper Paleozoic volcano-sedimentary; (5) Late Variscian quartz porphyry-granite porphyry (Fig. 1).
