摘要

Based on satellite color scanners and with standard algorithms, the concentration of marine suspended paniculate matter (SPM) in the surface layer can be calculated. A previous attempt to apply these algorithms for the White Sea has shown that the calculated and measured values differ significantly due to the physical geographic peculiarities of the sea.
