Physicochemical Model of the Formation of Satka Sparry Magnesite Deposits

摘要

To study the debatable problem of the origin of stratiform deposits of sparry magnesite (SM) in carbonate series, we performed numerical physicochemical modeling of mineral-forming processes in dolomite series on standard [1-4] deposits of the Satka group in the South Ural magnesite province. As a result, it was established that the main signs of the composition and structure of SM bodies of the Satka deposits and host dolomite were quite consistent with the model of filtration of relatively cool brines through heated dolomite series under a reduced environment.
