Long-Term Changes of River Runoff in the Transbaikal Region during Wet and Dry Periods

摘要

In recent publications dedicated to climate changes and their consequences, researchers analyze long-term trends in river runoff changes attempting to predict them [2, 3]. For example, according to their forecasts, an increase in river runoff may be expected for most of the territory of Siberia and the Far East. Talking into consideration the importance of this problem in light of current climate changes and the generalized character of these forecasts, it seems urgent to investigate in more detail long-term changes in river runoff within a less spacious area.
