About the John Gray Scholarship Program

The John Gray Scholarship Award Program, established in 2009, honors longtime IDEA member John Gray by helping the industry attract and retain individuals interested in energy issues and the growth and success of district energy and combined heat and power technologies. Former IDEA President Stephen K. Swinson, PE, and former IDEA Chairman Dave Toombs spearheaded the program's startup, with Swinson serving as ongoing program committee chair.
