There are several inexpensive, easy ways to increase the storage capabilities of your computer or inhouse network.rnMy first hard drive was arnwhopping 40MB. It was so large that the operating system (DOS 3.3) required that it be partitioned into two logical drives, neither of which could be larger than 32MB. I remember questioning the salesperson about how you could ever fill that much space. About 10 years later, 40GB drives are available and one could say the same thing about them. But for video pros, 40GB of storage is just the beginning. Some of today's production facilities could easily fill 40TB. Regardless of how much storage you have, something always fills it and more is needed. This month's column looks at ways to add storage to your computer or network.
