In this issue we welcome veteran editor and journalist Bob Turner to Video Systems. Turner has been cutting film and videotape since 1966, and has worked both as a house editor and under his own shingle. In the process, he has had his hands on just about every piece of NLE technology ever made. This experience has inevitably led to a wealth of observations and opinions that are regularly sought by manufacturers, SMPTE, ITVA, and those who have read his columns in trade publications over the years.
