摘要

The growing interest in the processes of collective learning and knowing - especially with respect to "learning how to learn" and "knowing what to know" - within organizations signals their need for new forms of knowledge in order to remain competitive in dynamic global operational contexts. In this article, we contend that the management of learning in sports organizations has much to offer business managers and, using social capital theory as an analytical lens, we explore the applicability of their approach to business contexts.
