摘要

The study showed that despite improvements, there is still gender inequality, as seen here amongst managers and bosses at high levels. There persists a negative bias toward female managers (from male peers) and this can also be seen in group tasks, less credit for project successes and the overall atmosphere within an organization. The bias can be cumulative throughout a female's career. It is important in appraisals to take the evaluators into account, looking at the difference in organizational levels and the level of familiarity between evaluator and evaluation target - more familiarity leads to a more nuanced evaluation and less reliance on gender bias and stereotyped thinking.
