摘要

Cell‐plastics, in which green algal cells are used as a fundamental resource, have been fabricated which are able to convert CO_(2)directly into plastics via photosynthesis. In article number 2100026 by Kohei Iritani and co‐workers, polyvinyl alcohol‐cell‐plastics with high water absorption ability are successfully produced. The results open a route to fabricate sustainable and functional cell‐plastics for many useful purposes.
