Sindhī multiscriptality, past and present: a sociolinguisticinvestigation into community acceptance

摘要

This thesis falls within the field known as the sociolinguistics of writing, namely, the study of the role of written language and writing in society. It deals with the mutual relationship between the written form of a language and a community that uses the language, and how the use of written lan- guage within the community is impacted by societal changes.
