The Inter-rater Reliability and Reproducibility of Neck-Reflex-Points (Adler-Langer-Points) as a Diagnostic Instrument in Neural Therapy

Neck-reflex-points or Adler-Langer-Points are commonly used in neural therapy to detect the so-called interference fields inthe head. This might be the sinuses, teeth, tonsils or ears. Each of these areas if chronically irritated or inflamed will lead toan increased tension and tenderness of the short muscles in the upper cervical spine. Neural therapists palpate these eightpoints in the neck and determine, dependent on the result of the testing, the disturbed region in the head that has to betreated. However, the procedure has not been validated, yet.
