Immigrant Narratives of the US

Immigrant Narratives of the US is a class that is a part of Freshman Composition and the pre-requisite for this class is to have successfully passed Composition I. It is a part of the general education requirements at the university and its primary student audience is freshman but can also be taken by students in other classes. It is a special topics class and the readings in this class examine immigrant literature through skills like critical writing, argumentation, research, analysis, and awareness of rhetorical strategies.
