Egg production performance of RIR x Fayoumi and Fayoumi x RIR crossbreed chicken under intensive management in Bangladesh

nbsp;AnexperimentwasconductedtocomparetheeggproductionperformancesofRIRxFayoumiandFayoumixRIRcrossbreedchickenunderintensivefeedingandmanagement.Onehundredandthirtytwopullets(66fromeachcrossbreed)werecagedindividuallyat16weeksofageandrearedupto70weeksundernaturallightandwithabalancedfeedcontaining18%crudenbsp;protein.nbsp;TherewasaslightimprovementineggproductionfromthecrossbreedofFayoumimaleandRIRfemalecomparedwiththereciprocalcross;howeverageatonsetoflay,fedintakeandmortalitydidnotdiffer.nbsp;
