nbsp;Thenutritivevaluesofleavesfromashruband5trees,GlycrrhizaglabraL,Arbutusandrachne,Carpinusbetilus,Juniperuscommunis,QuercuslibariLandPistacialentiscusLwereevaluatedbasedontheirchemicalcompositionandinvitrodrymatterdigestibility(IVDMD).nbsp;Crudeprotein(CP)contentrangedfrom5.74to12.6%withGlycrrhizaglabraLshowingthehighestvalue.Cellwallcontentswerehighinalltheleaves.Thetotalcondensedtannincontentrangedfrom4.34to20.3%withJuniperuscommunisandCarpinusbetilushavingthehighestnbsp;value.nbsp;TheIVDMDvaluesrangedfrom41.7to52.8%.TheNDF,ADF,ADL,TCTandSCTcontentsofleaveswerenegativelyrelated,andCPpositivelyrelated,withIVDMD.nbsp;ItwasconcludedthatGlycrrhizaglabraLandQuercuslibariLmayhaveapotentialnutritivevalueforruminantanimals.nbsp;
