A different side to Television

A television system that not only delivers three-dimensional pictures, but also moves along with the viewer. A prototype that does just that is currently being tested at the Informatics and Communications Theory Group of the Mediamatie department at Delft University of Technology. If the viewer moves to the left, he will actually see the image more from the left sidejust like a hologram. Obvious applications include remote-control surgery, maintenance in hazardous environments, video conferencing, and of course, video games.
