Four German Army Tiger attack helicopters assigned to the UN-led mission in Mali have arrived in-country and have begun flying. Part of the Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission (MINUSMA), the first two helicopters arrived in Mali on 21 March after being transported by Antonov 124-100 from Leipzig to Bamako. The aircraft were partially disassembled for transportation, involving the removal of mast sights and main rotors.
