The occurrence of raptors on the Tipperne reserve, western Denmark, 1930-2011 As part of the monitoring of birds on the meadow and wetland reserve of Tipperne on the west coast of Jutland, Denmark (see Meltofte & Clausen 2011), raptors were recorded from 1930/31 onwards. However, raptors were apparently not recorded as systematically as waterbirds during the first four decades, and winter observations were only made in four years late in the 1930s until year round records took place 1972-1997. Since then, winter records were again abandoned, and the frequency of the bird censuses have been significantly reduced.
