  Aris Gkoulalas-Divanis has a BS (University of Ioannina), an MS(University of Minnesota), and a PhD (University of Thessaly) in computerscience. He is currently a postdoctoral research fellow in the Departmentof Biomedical Informatics at Vanderbilt University. He hasserved as a research assistant in both the University of Minnesota(2003-2005) and the University of Manchester (2006). His research interestsare in the areas of privacy preserving data mining, privacy inmedical records, and privacy in location-based services.Vassilios S. Verykios received the Diploma degree in computer engineeringfrom the University of Patras and MS and PhD degrees fromPurdue University. Since 2005, he has been an assistant professor in theDepartment of Computer and Communication Engineering, Universityof Thessaly. He has also served on the faculty of Athens InformationTechnology Center, Hellenic Open University, and University of Patras.He has published more than 40 papers in major referred journals, conferences,and workshops.;
