John Deere has unveiled Chatterbox, a transportable studio designed to allow the company to capture customer comments in an effort to increase its customer-advocacy strategy. During Conexpo-Con/Agg, Deere consistently put forth the message that its new machines had been engineered with extensive, almost continual, customer involvement and input. In an exclusive interview with Construction Equipment prior to the introduction of Chatterbox, CEO Sam Allen said Deere's new Customer Advocacy Groups (CAG) would be more involved than those the company has used in the past.
