Navistar's Continental Mixer unit partnered with Indiana Phoenix on the front discharge mixer truck. The Navistar MaxxForce 13 diesel is rated at 430 horsepower at 1,800 rpm and produces 1,550 lb.-ft. of torque at 1,000 rpm. The 6-speed automatic transmission is an Allison 450RDS. Front driving axle is a 23,000-pound Meritor MX23 with 5.38 ratio, and the rear tandem is a 46,000-pound Meritor 46-160 with locking differential and 5.38 ratio. The lift axle is a 20,000-pound Hendrickson HLM/E nonsteering pusher.
