The Roadtec SP-200 Spray Paver sprays tack and applies hot-mix asphalt seconds later. Combining the spraying and placement operations, says the manufacturer, produces a high-quality mat with a strong bond between layers. A spray bar, just forward of the auger, distributes tack through computer-controlled (or manually controlled), self-cleaning valves that are supplied from the SP-200's 2,100-gallon tack tank. Four other models in the Roadtec lineup range in operating weight from 36,000 to 47,400 pounds.
