Model TRS-1100 is a heavy-duty chain-saw designed to cut trenches in rocky terrain for underground utility construction. Primary power is from a 365-horsepower turbocharged diesel engine. All functions are hydraulically controlled, and the unit incorporates a two-speed crawler-drive that provides infinitely variable speed regulation whether traveling forward or in reverse. The cutting chain is hydraulically driven through flywheel gearboxes that maintain consistent torque in most uneven ground formations.
