Optimized hydraulic pump settings and a revised spool configuration within the main block valve further boost efficiency. The Isuzu 4HK engines feature EGR, variable geometry turbochargers.and diesel paniculate filters. Regeneration occurs every 8 hours, as the EGR valve closes to increase temperatures.
