T4-Interim Engines and Increased Hydraulic Flow

Deere's 188-horsepower 290G and 271-horsepower 350G hydraulic excavators feature Tier 4-lnterim engines with increased power and hydraulic flow. The Powerwise III engine/hydraulic system features three productivity modes that allow the operator to choose the digging style that fits the job. "High-productivity" delivers more power and faster hydraulic response. "Power" delivers a balance of power, speed and fuel economy for normal operation. "Economy" limits top speed and helps save fuel, according to Deere. Both excavators' upper structures were redesigned to include more glass and more lighting, as well as a larger entryway, additional legroom, and a more supportive, high-back seat.
