The Rexcon Town & Country slipform paver is a two-track machine, powered by a 325-horsepower Cat C9 engine, that provides paving widths from 12 to 25 feet, or to 34 feet with extensions. Standard are 12 individually controlled hydraulic vibrators, with an added 12 as an option. Tamper bars, says the company, operate in an elliptical "tucking" motion that provides an even flow of concrete to the extrusion meter. Side forms hydraulically raise and lower to grade-a total of 4 inches.
