Model 70Z7 is a 3.7-cubic-yard wheel loader with an operating weight of 31,750 pounds and full-turn tipping load of 22,800 pounds. The 173-horsepower Cummins QSB6.7 engine, which meets Tier 4-lnterim standards, is paired with a ZF five-speed transmission. The Z7 IntelliTech functions perform many of their operations without human intervention. The loader has an automatic reversible cooling fan, and gull-wing doors provide access to the engine. Hinge-pin height is 12 feet 10 3/8 inches, and dumping clearance is 8 feet 11 7/8 inches.
