Weiler says its P385A commercial-class paver features the largest undercarriage in its class, along with replaceable wear plates and components. Independent control of each side of the delivery system provides variable-width paving from 0 to 15 feet 8 inches. The company-designed screed is 3,000 pounds and has electric heat, grade and slope controls, and sonic feed sensors. Overall unit weight is 18,000 pounds, including a 9-ton hopper and the six-position adjustable push roller for adaptation to trucking fleets. The screed features oversized height-adjustment screws, extender-height adjusters to match the main screed height, and an optional remote pendant with tow-point adjustment, extender width, and auger override controls.
