The 1050K uses a 13.5-liter John Deere engine developing 350 maximum net horsepower, has an average operating weight of 95,000 pounds, and places nearly 135 inches of track-on-ground. The tractor's dual-path hydrostatic drive system uses two drive motors at each final drive and allows full-power turns and counter rotation. Blade choices include a 12.7-cubic-yard semi-U and 14.9-cubic-yard full U with a Power Pitch feature that accommodates three pre-set blade positions recalled at the touch of a button on the blade controller.
