The PW 42001 -SH crane offers a maximum lifting moment up to 241,640 lb.-ft, and a maximum vertical reach of over 73 feet. A 6-story machine, its maximum horizontal capacity is 3,350 pounds at 61 feet. This model also incorporates a Soft-Stop System featured on the main boom, outer boom and slewing system, to prevent abrupt crane movements. Improving ease of operation and safety for the operator, the Soft-Stop System automatically ramps down the crane movements as the machine approaches its maximum reach or rotation range, the company says, resulting in a load that is more controlled.
