A mood of optimism accompanied Conexpo 2017, as the prospect of increased infrastructure spending and steadier work buoyed buyers, and exhibitors were more than happy to accommodate. U.S. buyer attendance jumped over 16 percent from the 2014 show, AEM says, and total buyer attendance improved by almost 8 percent. The week saw nearly 128,000 attendees visit a newly expanded Las Vegas Convention Center, which for the first time featured exhibits that stretched all the way to The Strip.
