Prinoth Undercarriages Used for Experimental Equipment

Prinoth, a manufacturer of tracked utility vehicles, is partnering with European forest-research organizations and forest-machine manufacturer Ponsse to develop new logging equipment. According to a recent press release, the project, called "OnTrack," will test various configurations of Prinoth's tracked undercarriages on Ponsse timber forwarders—rough-terrain vehicles designed to extract large loads of timber and move them to the nearest logging road.
