Our listening to the drive-time radio show during the morning commute is often interrupted by thoughts of construction equipment as we pass through an industrial park housing an excavation company, underground contractor, materials supply firm, and an equipment dealer. Recently, however, the show was interrupted by the smell of equipment, or rather, the smell of burning oil emitting from a truck hauling the equipment.
