Reuse of spent dye bath in nylon dyeing

摘要

Nylon knitted fabric was dyed with various add dyes. The spent dye bath was used for dyeing different shades. It revealed from the study that it was feasible to dye nylon fabric with self shade as well as binary mixture by using spent dye liquor without affecting colour strength i.e k/s value. The colour fastness properties did not show any change when dyeing in spent and fresh dye bath.
