摘要

The general method of printing of stitch bonding nonwoven will cause easily migration between the fibers and thus, it would reduce the whole appearance and additional value. This study examined applying different thickeners at various concentrations as a size prior to printing stitch bonding nonwoven. It is found that the thickener added on fibers becomes film-forming to prevent the capillary continuity and to keep the web and the sewing thread of the stitch bonding nonwoven having the same diffusion rate. The next procedure is to print stitch bonding nonwoven, using a color paste receipe preparing suitable flowability with sodium alginate. The result gains the purpose of raising printed-on pattern sharpness and shows how to overcome the bleeding phenomenon that has become more and more important in nonwoven printing technology.
