Spotlight on Textile Machinery Singeing Machines-II

摘要

In Part-I on singeing machines, published in April 2010 issue of Colourage, we have introduced this topic with some details on the singeing systems, need of singeing and its benefits to produce high quality fabrics. Recent developments in singeing machines and the latest hairiness tester, mainly contributed by Osthoff-Senge of Germany, were also described. We have given in Part-I, main features of 11 machine models of 7 manufacturers, viz., Bejimac Group of Luxembourg, Cibitex of Italy, Dhall, Calico and Gayatri of India, Kyoto of Japan and Changzhow of China.
