In our annual review of the attitudes of Americans regarding economic policies, our experts, Robert Blendon and John Benson, find America a highly divided nation according to political party affiliation. They focus on inequality in particular and the differences across party line are striking. Members of both parties believe the gap between rich and poor is getting wider. They differ significantly on the causes.
